Our commitment

Greater Springfield VT Habitat for Humanity wants everyone to be able to use this website, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA.

What we do

This site is built with accessibility in mind from the start. Pages use clear headings and semantic structure that screen readers can navigate. Meaningful images carry text descriptions. Text colors meet contrast standards for readability. Every feature works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, and the site respects your device's reduced-motion setting. Links that open a new tab say so.
